I had a great stay at this motel. The rooms were new and modern, and they were also very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable with no issues. The motel is in a great location, really close to the town center. The staff was very nice and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed.

We stayed at this welcoming hotel for a few nights during our backpacking trip. The owners were incredibly friendly and gave us a tour of the property upon our arrival. They even recommended a local $10 pizza night, which was delicious! The double bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable and the shared bathroom was clean. The location was great, just a short walk from the town. We also appreciated the convenience of the self-contained cabins with parking. The WiFi was excellent as well.

The hotel had a charming and cozy decor that reminded me of my grandmother's house. The general areas were well-maintained and had a vintage touch that made me feel comfortable and at home. The hotel was also easily accessible for senior people, with wide hallways and handrails conveniently placed for support.

I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff, especially when it came to carrying my luggage or offering additional amenities for senior guests. It would have been nice if the children working there were more attentive to the needs of older travelers like myself.

The owner was incredibly kind and even gave us free snapper fish from his fishing trip. His wife was also very accommodating, offering us chocolate eggs during our Easter stay. the company and social atmosphere were wonderful, with many friendly people staying there. the host, Mr Kelvin, was a fantastic conversationalist and took the time to chat with us about life. the kitchen was well-equipped and clean, and the lounge and outdoor seating area were great. the bathrooms and laundry facilities were well-maintained. the sea views were beautiful, and there was convenient parking available. the two-bunk room provided us with a nice space to relax after a long day of travel.

We felt immediately at home and had no complaints.

During my recent transit in Coromandel, I stayed at Tidewater Motel And Budget Accommodation. Despite it being a budget option, I found two features of the hotel that stood out. its location near Whitianga Airport made it extremely convenient for a quick stayover. the database mentioned that the motel offered family rooms with additional beds, perfect for accommodating larger groups or families.

Although my stay had its conveniences, there was one minor negative feature that I experienced at Tidewater Motel. It appeared that there was no room service available.

During my stay at Tidewater, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. They guided me around the property and showed me to my room, ensuring I had everything I needed. The room itself was cozy and had a nice view, providing me with a pleasant stay. Despite some minor inconveniences, such as shared facilities and the need to press a button for hot water in the shower, I found the accommodations to be reasonably good.
